Lets face it, its been a tough time recently, and I’ve got to take my hat off to my friends working in nurseries across Scotland and managing all the new rules and constant changes we’ve had to put up with.
I recognise the duress the pandemic has had on all our lives and businesses and my aim is to ensure everyones safety by meeting or surpassing the protections in place on any given day in this continually changing situation.
My primary consideration is safety for all my clients, from nurseries, to families, to children, and of course to myself and my family. By working together and having a little chat beforehand we can prepare for your session and then relax and have fun on the day.
You may be interested to know that as well as following up on the latest government advice, I also:
- passed a Covid-19 safety course
- passed a PPE training course
- been fully vaccinated
- take regular lateral flow tests
My standard photoshoots have been revamped to now offer flexible photoshoot dates for taking outdoors photos in our wonderful, if somewhat erratic Scottish weather!
If you are a nursery with a garden, an outdoor photo shoot can be a great way to help keep your business, staff and children safe whilst not having to deal with the headache of the new airflow regulations.
Places will be limited and nurseries will need to be in the following areas to allow me to quickly drive out to you if it looks like we have good weather: Midlothian, Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian and Fife.
Got a garden?
Lets arrange an outdoors photo shoot
Here's a behind the scenes photo from a recent graduation. The nursery has a great garden with handy barriers to separate myself from a few kids from a bubble. I was able to use a long lens I normally reserve for my wedding photography, and take high quality shots of the kids from a distance.
What was great to see was that the kids are so used to masks now, that we were still able to have fun and joke around without the mask I was wearing getting in the way.
See below for a few examples of the results we were able to get that parents loved and allowed me to show you. Congratulations to the happy graduates!
